Watching a documentary

The documentary that I have choose to watch was Afghanistan: Drugs, Guns and Money. This was about how the rise of drugs in Afghanistan effected its economy, such as more people go to prison as they try to smuggle drugs past the border line. I enjoyed the way they asked a question and then finally answered it at the end the viewer felt satisfied.

Layout

In my production I will start of with by showing what is going to come up, then from my research I will put images, facts and pictures relating to the topic. There will be an interview from our footage you can see the question with text this will be done during editing time. At the end I will put forward the big question testing it and then i will come to a conclusion.

Flim review of Slumdog Millionaire.

The story of Jamal's life includes him taking care of his family at age five he obtains the autograph of Amitabh Bachchan which his brother then sells followed immediately by the death of his mother during the Bombay Riots. Jamal's life stars at a big disadvantage.

I personally enjoyed this film the moral was great the film had a mixture of love, power, money, and action. Even though Jamal had no money or power he still looked ahead he showed that love is more than power and money. Another thing that i liked was the flashbacks it was a unique style to show the past. However some people did not like Slumdog millionaire because Amitabh Bachchan does not make actually act some people were let down by this. They should of used Amitabh Bachchan more in Slumdog Millionaire. Another argument can be brought up that it gives India a bad impression but i think that's the true about India and about meany other parts of the world.

Methods of research

Research:
The meaning of research is to do study on a subject or topic. especially to find out some thing new this can give you better understanding of what you are looking for. the word re means to do again or over again e.g i have to re do my homework as it was messy. the word search means to examine or to test and try e.g i searched for my book.

Primary research:
Primary research is any type of research that you go out and collect yourself(first person). Examples include surveys, interviews, and observations. A good researcher knows how to use both primary and secondary sources in her writing so that it will be more accurate. the word primary means first.

Secondary research:
Secondary research occurs when a project requires a summary or collection of existing data. As opposed to data collected directly from respondents or research subjects for the express purposes of a project secondary sources already exist. These secondary sources could include previous research reports, newspaper, magazine and journal content. Sometimes secondary research is required in the preliminary stages of research to determine what is known already and what new data is required, or to inform research design. At other times, it may make be the only research technique used. the word secondary means second.

Quantitative research:
Quantitative research is about asking people for their opinions in a structured way so that you can produce hard facts and statistics to guide you. To get reliable statistical results it’s important to survey people in fairly large numbers and to make sure they are a representative sample of your target market. case study, interviews, focus groups can be used for quantitative research.

Qualitative research:
Qualitative research seeks out the why not the how of its topic through the analysis of unstructured information things like interview transcripts open ended survey responses, emails, notes, feedback forms, photos and videos. It doesn’t just rely on statistics or numbers, which are the domain of quantitative researchers. using numbers and figures.
